Chris Sullivan —
Lacrosse Coach
United Sports Academy welcomes Chris Sullivan as Head Coach of the lacrosse program. A Deerfield Academy grad who played Division I lacrosse at the University of Denver, Chris built his game on discipline and elite competition. He is the head coach and founder of Bells Lacrosse Club and also currently serves as Boys Division Lead Coach for Aspen Lacrosse Club, developing athletes both on and off the field.
Chris didn’t come up through a traditional lacrosse hotbed. Raised in Milton, Massachusetts, his path took a turn when his family relocated to Tucson, Arizona — far from the sport’s established pipelines. He fought his way to Division I recruitment anyway, and that path gives him a rare read on what it actually takes to compete at the highest level: no shortcuts, no head start, just work.
His coaching philosophy is built on what he calls “competitive compounding training” — stacking effort and skill day after day until it adds up to real results. At USA, his mission is straightforward: push mountain-town athletes to put in the work, take their shot, and find out what they’re capable of.
